Iberian Dances

In this workshop we'll make the bridge between dances from the north of Portugal and Spain.Tradicional music and dance have always been an element of social cohesion and through dances like "Jota" (one of the most ancient dance extended to all
Spain) or Repasseado (a dance from "Trás-os-Montes" with a contagious energy) we'll dive in two cultures that have similarities in it's music and steps. Little about the instructor Juanra Campos: The dance universe caches him since his youth having experienced Flamenco,Tango, and Castilian Dances. With this lastone he has integrated the tradicional dancing group "Albura", leaded by Daniel Peces. During the last six years he has been specializing himself in European Traditional Dances,
having had formation in gatherings and festivals like Gennetines or Trad'Hivernales in France, Andanças in Portugal, Boombal in Belgium, Cadansa inHoland and Danças Sin Fronteras in Spain. Currently he gives classes of Tradicional European Dances in Madrid, transmitting the same enthusiasm from the first steps.
